Albert Bourget (1881 - 1956)

Born in Rennes, Albert Bourget attended the Beaux-Arts in his native town before going on to the Beaux-Arts in Paris where he studied alongside other Breton students such as Lemordant, Lenoir and Godet. He became a professor of sculpture at the Beaux-Arts de Rennes. He made many war memorials in Laval, Bieuzy (Morbihan), Pacé (Ille et Vilaine).
