Plougastel woman and child
Georges Allier ( - )
He studied at the fine arts school in Nantes. Throughout his life, he practiced drawing, painting, sculpture, engraving and watercolour. He is a complete artist but extremely discreet, he will never try to exhibit in a gallery. After having worked at the prefecture of Quimper during the war, he returned to Kéraluc when the factory started up in 1946 and remained there until his retirement. His production is quite abundant in Breton inspired statuettes, religious subjects, tableware and commemorative pieces.
