Plaque representing the Annunciation

Polychrome earthenware, dated 1932. On the back is a letter "to Mme Gauquet, very affectionately, her girlfriend Monique Nicot. Quimper 1932". Unique piece.

The Nicots must have met Georges Cornélius, perhaps he was the inspiration for this subject.
