In painted wood and Nevers spun glass. A sailor's votive bottle on the return of Napoleon's ashes. Around 1830. Cracks at the bottom and neck of the bottle without prejudice.
The first known passion bottles date from the middle of the 18th century. They often represent episodes from the life of Christ, but also masses and weddings.
